Valentines Day Arts and Craft Market

Midway Pub in East Atlanta is hosting an arts and craft event to benefit the East Atlanta Community Association on Saturday February 11th from 12:00 pm-5:00 pm. They are looking for all types of vendors to donate products for the benefit. It’s going to be a great place to find local homemade items so if you’re around the area go by and shop and support one of your Atlanta neighborhoods.

Atlanta Gotham and other city views

Hey guys,

After several distraught inquiries as to where our Atlanta Gotham photo prints have gone, I’m pleased to announce that they’re back! Robin Davis, the talented photographer, brought more by the shop today, so come and get them, people!

Here’s the same photo featured on the flyer for last year’s photography show at Mason Murer:

A native Georgia gal, Robin was born in Savannah, GA and is a graduate of the University of Georgia. She has held exhibitions in numerous venues, including Atlanta’s own SPACE Gallery and Mason Murer, and has permanent pieces in the St. Regis Hotel and Buckhead Pizza Co. just to name a few of the local spaces. Check out Robin’s website to see the extensive exhibition list.

It’s sooo sweet.   Street sweet.

And uplifting.

Steve Powers, aka Espo, put a team of artists together who created one of the most well-received mural series known to date.

It’s called “Love Letters” and the book is on it’s way to Young Blood.

Only $20, it’s the perfect gift for anyone you wanna love, touch, or just squeeze.

It’s has inspired the “Love Train Tour” (witness Mayor Nutter marry a couple on a slow-moving train tour with champagne and chocolates),

a feature-film, Love Letter,

a short film, Love Letters in Syracuse (made by the lovely Faythe Levine of Handmade Nation fame),

and most of all, it’s put a heart-felt little pep in the step of everyday day people as they shlep through their days.
