Happy Friday, all!

People probably think I’m a huge dork when I get all excited when people ask me where my jewelry’s from, but they usually get a $5 coupon out of it. “Why yes, I did get my badass pyramid necklace and ring from here!” Lillian Crowe, I just sold two of your necklaces that way; I’m a little bit in love with your jewelry, do you like me too?

And for a little shameless self-promotion, we had a customer come in today and tell me that Megafaun (who opened for The Mountain Goats at Variety Playhouse the other night) totally gave Young Blood a shout out before the concert! We’re famous, guys!

Lillian Crowe’s jewellery pieces are definite conversation starters; from shockingly accurate anatomical hearts to 3 pyramid long knuckle duster rings each piece is always at least half composed with recycled materials and 100% charm.

Drawing inspiration from museum relics and old trinket shops, Lillian has found an aesthetic that looks vintage, but is brand new.  
Almost every one who works at Youngblood owns at least one piece from this collection of curiosities. I dare you to pick a favorite!

Hey guys and dolls,

This Friday I wanna point out some new merchandise we’ve gotten in recently. In honor of our upcoming Day of the Dead show in October (30th), we’ve got some prints and ceramic art by Leila Hijazi of Illustrated Ink…



and some badass, but still gorgeous, jewelry by Lillian Crowe. (This is just a sneak peek, Rebecca’ll show you more tomorrow..she discovered this great artist!)


Also, just as a reminder, we’re getting geared up for GATL tomorrow, which takes place tomorrow at the Trees Atlanta building in Reynoldstown, with the panel discussion beginning at 6:30 p.m. The fabulous Jen, Maggie and Kelly will be there, so be sure to stop by and say hi!
