The goal of #weloveatl is to bring the citizens of Atlanta together to tell simple & authentic photographic stories of their love for the city and the people that inhabit it.

 The four curators of the show  Tim Moxley, Keith Weiver, Aaron Coury and Brandon Barr have been going through thousands of entries to print the very best ones! The photos will be in the gallery for the month of December with the opening on 12/01/2012 from 7-10pm. Half of the proceeds from print sales will benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

Nikki’s calendars feature strong verbs that motivates and inspires action on an image of everyday life. The images themselves are original papercuts, meaning they were cut from a single piece of paper. They are printed on acid-free paper with soy ink and by union-labor.

The Slingshot organizer features important dates for the year, contact lists for radical group organizations, and interesting information on issues such as police repression. It’s made with a tough binding and laminated cover and is made for pockets. The independent newspaper Slingshot is funded through the sales of the Slingshot organizer.

“Nikki McClure of Olympia, Washington is known for her painstakingly intricate and beautiful paper cuts. Armed with an X-acto knife, she cuts out her images from a single sheet of paper and creates a bold language that translates the complex poetry of motherhood, nature, and activism into a simple and endearing picture.”
