Chchchanges….

Hey everybody-

Just heard some little tid-bits about some of our favorite businesses making some changes. As we all know King of Pops was a staple at YB this summer and as we tried to stock pile our freezer and we just dream of the spring and the new flavors they might bring us- We’ve all been wondering over here where they were going to go over the next few months so here’s a little interview Purge Atlanta did about the new start of their business, what’s to come and where we can get our pops over the winter!

Also one of our buddies Mint Gallery is moving. They have a few last events in their old space and are gearing up for a new show their new home in December which is  really far away, no just a few doors down, into what I’m hoping is a great new space for them! Good Luck guys!

“First, is ouryART Sale on November 20th and 21st to get rid of all the art and random items we’ve accumulated over the years. If you’re an artist who’s left work here at some point, please come grab your work before then! Otherwise, it will be sold and all proceeds will go to facilitate our move. On the 20th, the sale will be at:

1118 Colquitt Ave NE
Atlanta, GA 30307

And on the 21st it will be at the gallery:

684 John Wesley Dobbs Ave, Unit B
Atlanta, GA 30312

Second, we’ve got a big closing party planned for November 27th. We’ll have music from Lille and Living Rooms, a lullaby set from Book of Colors along with refreshments from Asahi.

Then, on December 3rd, we’ll have our first opening in the new space! It will be our 5th Annual Postcard Pinup Show and everyone is invited to participate. This event is a great, low pressure way to get artwork in front of the MINT staff. Email erica@mintatl.org for submission info.
